A Recipe Suggesting Application
Introduction
​Due to the prolonged lockdown that happened, the initial days were the days of experimenting with ingredients that were present at home, which resulted in a limited variety of food. So suggestions were needed for a new food type with similar ingredients so that the monotony of the taste can be changed. An application that can help in suggesting what all food can be made with a given set of ingredients.
The interview was done with different types of users, with different levels of experience in cooking and users with the different familiarity with technology.
Basic pointers to the questions asked were:

User Survey
From the user interview, the main takeaways were

Easy to cook regular dishes were given priority,

They look at the recipe they make few changes with the available ingredients,

Few users will decide on their level of cooking skills to decide what to cook.

Problem statement
Users struggle to get the best recipe to be made using a specific set of ingredients that are available with them or suggests what all ingredients to be bought next time when shopping.

Objectives
1. Making the most out of the items in the kitchen.
2. Make cooking meals an engaging and interesting experience.
3. Help users with making grocery lists.
Paper Prototype
From the scenario and the user interviews, I was able to come out with paper prototypes. This was just to try how the user will interact with it. This was done in the Marvel App and saw how users interacted with the app. I was able to test it on three users.
UI
Both prototypes was circulated to the responders of the survey and the feedbacks were taken to refine it to create the final UI
